Surviving What Life Throws At Us
The compelling story of Lori Morrison, former CEO of one of the largest food and wine wholesalers from Mexico to Panama was diagnosed with severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from a series of horrific events in her life: suicide of her first husband at the young age of 27, the death of her second husband of twenty-three years, a bomb explosion next her car, being ambushed by leftist guerrillas in the El Salvador countryside, and then later being extorted and sentenced to death by gangs.
Morrison went from hospital ER to locked ward where, after spending time in and out of mainstream mental health facilities, she decided to take a different approach to healing her mental illness. Through the use of Ayurvedic medicine and other cutting edge healing methods, she designed a deep and profound personal spiritual practice based on ancient Mayan and Shaman practices that fully healed her PTSD and changed her life forever. She outlines her journey in her memoir, Lori: The Disintegration of My Ordinary Reality [Summer 2017].
