Memorial Day Weekend Show
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It is observed on the last Monday of May every year. The holiday was first established to honor Union soldiers who died during the American Civil War, but after World War I, it was expanded to include all Americans who died while in military service. Many people observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, attending parades and ceremonies, flying the American flag at half-staff, or taking part in other patriotic activities.
