why the entrepreneurial spirit is time-proof.”

STARTING A BUSINESS AT ANY AGE
Entrepreneurship For Those In The Second Half Of Life
Fewer and fewer people are retiring. In fact, research shows that older entrepreneurs are the fastest growing segment of the startup world. Entrepreneurs aged 55 to 64 starting businesses increased from 15 percent to 25 percent between 1996 and 2016.
Written as a field guide to the often rocky terrain of entrepreneurship, AGELESS STARTUPis filled with insights from a wide-range of ageless entrepreneurs and rock-solid advice that will help with the journey from employee to entrepreneur or empty-nester to business-owner.
Readers will learn how to:
*Make a smooth transition from working for someone else to working for themselves
*Minimize risk and maximize value
*Set a pace that’s right and works
*Find customers who keep coming back
*Create a business system that keeps everything on track
*Tackle obstacles with an open mind
Terrien’s approach is different from most startup books. He writes, “I want you to go slow. This is not a sprint, and you should work at your own pace. Think carefully about what you need so you can craft the best ways to get there using a deliberate strategy for exploring entrepreneurship on your own terms.”
From identifying why starting a business is the right idea, to laying the groundwork, setting goals and values, and creating a business plan to making sure the startup is system-secure, marketing, and leadership lessons, AGELESS STARTUPis the roadmap to entrepreneurial success.
